PATRONUS PROTECT - LEGAL NOTICE (Imprint / Impressum, English)

This document is the English-language counterpart of the German Impressum
that Casdo Labs, as the provider of Patronus Protect, provides under
Section 5 of the German Digital Services Act (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz,
"DDG"; successor of the former TMG), in conjunction with Section 18(2) of
the German Interstate Media Treaty (Medienstaatsvertrag, "MStV").

1. INFORMATION PURSUANT TO SECTION 5 DDG (GERMAN DIGITAL SERVICES ACT)

The provider of the Patronus Protect macOS application and of the website
at https://patronus.studio (and any subdomains) within the meaning of
Section 5 DDG is:

E-mail messages sent to the address above are answered within a reasonable
period during normal business hours in Germany.

4. COMMERCIAL REGISTER ENTRY

Casdo Labs is currently an unregistered German civil-law partnership
(Gesellschaft buergerlichen Rechts). No commercial register entry exists.
Registration as an "eingetragene Gesellschaft buergerlichen Rechts" (eGbR)
under Sections 707 et seq. of the German Civil Code is intended; the
register number will be added upon registration.

5. VAT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

VAT identification number pursuant to Section 27a of the German Value
Added Tax Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz, "UStG"):

No VAT identification number under Section 27a UStG has been issued; one will be added once VAT liability arises.

6. BUSINESS IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

Business identification number pursuant to Section 139c of the German
Fiscal Code (Abgabenordnung, "AO"):

No business identification number has been issued. The number is assigned automatically by the German Federal Central Tax Office (Bundeszentralamt fuer Steuern) and will be added once issued.

7. PROFESSIONAL REGULATIONS

The provision of security software for end-user devices is not a regulated
profession ("freier Beruf") under German law. The provider is therefore
not subject to a specific professional chamber, professional title, or
profession-specific code of conduct within the meaning of Section 5(1)
No. 5 DDG, and no supervisory authority within the meaning of that
provision exists.

8. RESPONSIBLE FOR EDITORIAL CONTENT

Responsible for editorial content within the meaning of Section 18(2) of
the German Interstate Media Treaty (Medienstaatsvertrag, "MStV"):

The editorially responsible person must be of legal age, fully legally
competent, and resident in Germany or in another EU/EEA member state.

9. EU ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ODR)

The European Commission's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform under
Article 14(1) of Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 was permanently shut down on
20 July 2025. A link to the platform is therefore no longer provided.

The provider's e-mail address for the purposes of consumer contact is
stated in Section 3 above.

10. CONSUMER DISPUTE RESOLUTION (VSBG)

In accordance with Section 36 of the German Act on Alternative Dispute
Resolution in Consumer Matters (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz,
"VSBG"), the provider declares:

The provider is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute settlement proceedings before a consumer arbitration body ("Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle").

Customers are of course free to contact the provider directly at the
e-mail address in Section 3 to seek an amicable resolution of any
complaint.

11. LIABILITY FOR OWN CONTENT

As a service provider within the meaning of the DDG, the provider is
responsible for its own content on the Patronus Protect website and
within the Patronus Protect application in accordance with the general
laws and pursuant to Section 7(1) DDG.

In accordance with Sections 8 to 10 DDG, the provider is not obliged to
monitor information transmitted or stored by third parties, nor to
actively investigate circumstances indicating illegal activity. Statutory
obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general
laws remain unaffected. Any such liability is only triggered from the
point in time at which the provider obtains positive knowledge of a
specific infringement; upon becoming aware, the relevant content will be
removed without undue delay.

12. LIABILITY FOR EXTERNAL LINKS

The Patronus Protect website and application may contain links to
external websites operated by third parties. The provider has no
influence on the contents of those external websites and cannot assume
any warranty for them. Responsibility for the contents of linked pages
lies exclusively with the respective operator. Linked pages were reviewed
for possible legal violations at the time the link was created; no
illegal content was identifiable at that point in time. If the provider
becomes aware of any infringement, the relevant link will be removed
without undue delay.

13. COPYRIGHT

The content and works on the Patronus Protect website and within the
Patronus Protect application that have been created by the provider are
subject to German copyright law. Reproduction, modification, distribution
and any kind of exploitation outside the limits of copyright law require
the prior written consent of the respective author or creator. Downloads
and copies of this website and of the application are permitted only for
private, non-commercial use.

The trademark "Patronus Protect", the Patronus Protect logo and the
visual identity of the product are the property of the provider. All
other trademarks, product names, and company names mentioned in this
notice or within the product are the property of their respective owners.

14. IMAGE CREDITS

Unless otherwise indicated next to the respective image, all images,
icons and illustrations used on the Patronus Protect website and within
the Patronus Protect application are either created in-house by Casdo
Labs or licensed under their respective open-source or commercial
licenses. Specific attributions, where required by the underlying
license, are provided in the application under the menu item
"About Patronus Protect - Licenses".

15. STATUS AND VERSION

Governing law: The legal bases referenced in this notice are German
